Erika Sunnegårdh, Soprano
![]() The Swedish-American soprano appeared in numerous recitals in Sweden, England, Israel, Italy and the United States. In the autumn of 2004 she made her European stage debut in the title role of Turandot at the Malmö Opera and sang Elettra in Idomeneo in concert with the Danish Radio Sinfonietta and Adam Fischer. The spring of 2004 included Turandot at the NorrlandsOperan, Sweden. In May 2005 she sang Beethoven's Symphony No 9 with the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra and Mario Venzago. The current season includes Zemlinsky's Lyrische Symphonie and Schönberg's Orchester Lieder with the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra and Gianandrea Noseda, and Verdi's Requiem with the Stockholm Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and Alan Gilbert. In December 2005 Erika Sunnegårdh was the soloist at the Nobel Prize ceremony at the Concert Hall in Stockholm. |
